 "For seven years now, I've been writing a few lines about the day in my happiness diary every evening. Only good and beautiful things that happened to me and that caught my attention. It's a ritual to reflect on the day and focus on the right things before going to sleep. There's so much happiness in these books that they're real treasures for me. And because they're so important, I want to use specially designed books for them, like this one, each of which is handmade in Susanne Ziems's bookbinding workshop. The outside has a hard cover made of enchantingly soft Japanese paper and fine book linen. Inside, 144 blank pages with a light deckle-edge texture await.
 Each book comes with a bookmark made by me. It's made of thick handmade paper, painted by me with watercolors. Each one is a little unique. The bookmarks shown here are examples. Each one looks different. What yours will be is a little surprise :-).

 Paper: Inside: 144 pages of 100g blank paper (chamois - cream-colored) with a light deckle-edge structure

 Outside: Hardcover bound with delicately patterned Japanese paper and bookcloth. With ribbon bookmark.

 Each book is individually handcrafted and comes with a bookmark handcrafted by Maike. This bookmark is made of thick handmade paper and painted with watercolors. The bookmark shown here is an example. Each one looks different and is a little surprise.
