For the first time in years, my hand-drawn cards are back. As a set of 12 in my new Seasons Box. It is a tribute to the love of letter writing. To taking the time to make someone else happy with a few personal, handwritten lines.
And to high-quality stationery.The seasonal box consists of 12 cards hand-drawn by me on high-quality paper with motifs such as daisies, bouquets, rosehip wreaths and fir trees. They are packaged in a beautiful box covered with handmade Nepalese paper. Handcrafted by Pforzheim-based paper artist Susanne Ziems.

Das erste Mal seit Jahren gibt es nun wieder meine handgezeichneten Karten. Als 12er-Set in meiner neuen Jahreszeiten-Box. Sie ist eine Hommage an die Liebe zum Brief. Daran, sich die Zeit zu nehmen, um einem anderen Menschen mit ein paar persönlichen handgeschriebenen Zeilen eine Freude zu machen. Und an die hochwertige Papeterie. Denn die Jahreszeiten-Box besteht aus 12 von mir handgezeichneten Karten aus Büttenkarton mit Motiven wie Gänseblümchen, Blumenstrauß, Hagebuttenkranz oder Tannenbaum. Sie sind verpackt in einer wunderschönen mit handgeschöpftem Nepalpapier bezogenen Schachtel. Handgefertigt von der Pforzheimer Papierkünstlerin Susanne Ziems.

Kerstin and Holger hadn't planned to ‘stumble upon’ an old mill in need of renovation in the North German artists' village of Fischerhude, but they recognised its potential and embarked on the adventure (without much prior experience).

Today, the old mill is at least as beautiful as it was once intended to be. Both the building and the idyllic garden. Plus, there is a warm and inviting atmosphere inside.

In my latest article on my blog WIRKUNGSRAUM, I write about the couple's renovation journey and was also given a glimpse into both the private rooms and the beautiful holiday flat.

Kerstin und Holger hatten nicht geplant, über eine sanierungsbedürftige alte Mühle im norddeutschen Künstlerort Fischerhude "zu stolpern", aber sie haben das Potenzial erkannt und sich (ohne große Vorerfahrung) auf das Abenteuer eingelassen.

Heute steht die alte Mühle wieder mindestens so schön da, wie sie einmal gedacht war. Sowohl das Gebäude, als auch der idyllische Garten. Plus warmer und einladender Atmosphäre in den Innenräumen.

Im neuesten Artikel auf meinem Blog WIRKUNGSRAUM schreibe ich über die Sanierungs-Reise der beiden und habe auch einen Blick sowohl in die Privaträume als auch in die schöne Ferienwohnung werfen dürfen.
