CONSULTING
Maike Kristina Harich's approach is based on the connection between people, space, and nature. Her consulting focuses on:
-
Outdoor spaces: Creating green oases in urban areas (front gardens, courtyards, terraces, urban gardens, entrance areas of commercial buildings, facade design, etc.)
-
Interiors: Integrate natural materials (textiles, flooring, furniture, decoration, colors…)
-
Human nature: Designing spaces according to needs (clarity & order, quality of stay, peace, security, community, harmony, practicality)
It is about perceiving the current spatial effect and demonstrating the design potential in order to achieve a pleasant, stylish and harmonious overall atmosphere.
Maike acts as a consultant for property owners (commercial and private), as well as for architects, construction companies, and tradespeople.
Your inspiration boards with room sketches, sample photos, and material and color suggestions serve as a guide during the redesign phase and as a basis for detailed planning.
Exclusive short consultation (remote)
For an initial assessment of the potential of a garden/outdoor space (e.g., what's lacking in terms of atmosphere in our interiors? How could our front garden be made more inviting?) or for specific questions about redesign, such as the choice of plants, materials, colors, or furniture.
You'll receive a questionnaire in advance, which you'll return along with photos/videos and a floor plan. We then schedule a phone/video design meeting. Maike will review your documents and develop initial ideas based on your questions. During a phone/video call (approximately 45 minutes), she will present these ideas to you and develop them further with you. You'll then receive a 1-2-page hand-drawn sketch and a list of ideas.

Comprehensive analysis tours, detailed design concepts, planting plans or mood boards as well as accompanying advice during implementation are available upon request.
For companies, in addition to the exterior and interior spaces, the visual appearance (website, corporate design, etc.) as well as the customer journey and the service culture can also be included.
