I hope that 2026 will be a really good year for you. With lots of happy experiences and plenty of optimism!
This also includes the confidence that people with compassion, decency and tolerance are in the vast majority, even if the loud voices of a few on the world political stage sometimes suggest otherwise. Not everyone has be of the same opinion. That is also part of being human. But those who look at others with love and open interest instead of hatred can engage in conversation, allow other points of view and broaden their horizons.
Now a brief preview of the studio year 2026: I will be writing more. Here in my journal, rather than on an external blog. So that everything can be found on one page. In my ‘Greetings from the Atelier’, you will receive a summary of these articles 3-4 times a year, conveniently delivered to your home via email newsletter. And for those who would like to receive each publication directly in their email inbox, it will soon be possible to set up a free subscription via Substack.
There will also be beautiful new products in my shop, such as minimalist ceramic objects. I am looking forward to upcoming garden and outdoor design projects and to seeing how projects planned at the end of last year are now becoming reality in spring. These include a special garden project: since the beginning of January, major renovation work has been underway in our small city garden. This is a project close to my heart, designed to show how even a small space can be turned into a garden with several garden rooms – without any lawn.
More to follow here soon.
Yours

PS: In everything I do, I strive to make the world a little more beautiful—within my own little sphere, which I can influence. This can be achieved through creating more pleasant environments, finding joy in handmade products, or through the inspiration I find in my journal. For me, this isn't just about appearances; it's about the authenticity behind them. This also means that, as far as I can, I don't want to support companies that contradict my values. This includes PayPal—especially because of the people who founded it. Therefore, I've removed this payment option from my shop until a European alternative is hopefully available soon. From now on, I'll be sending out invoices the old-fashioned way after receiving your order :-).
