The colors of the hydrangeas inspired this first set of my new watercolor cards. The pink-violet of the hydrangeas at the end of summer, along with the changing leaves of the trees and the grasses, which slowly change from green to red and light brown.

 The cards revel in these worlds of color. Each one is a little different. They're created by painting abstract blossoms with watercolors on large sheets of the finest Hahnemühle handmade paper, then folding them into B6 format and tearing them by hand to create the beautiful deckle edge.

 Each of the cards is therefore a little original, and no two are alike. For each set, I combine three cards that harmonize particularly well with each other.

 The cards are delivered with an insert sheet for writing on (but you can also write directly on the cards) and a kraft paper envelope.
