I'd been searching for high-quality, durable linen textiles manufactured in a small factory for some time. By chance, we stopped by the Seegers & Sohn weaving mill on Lake Steinhude during the Open Heritage Day and toured the impressive factory buildings. The family business was founded over 260 years ago and still produces traditional craftsmanship, primarily for exclusive hotels and restaurants. They also have their own collection of textiles under their house brand "Leinenfabrik." I've selected a few pieces for my shop and will be offering them here in the future.
Like this cushion cover with its floral yet simple floral pattern. It measures 50 x 50 cm and is made of high-quality, durable half-linen, making it ideal for garden furniture (though, of course, they're not waterproof :-)).
There is a hidden zipper on the back so that the cover can be easily removed and washed.
What's special about the linen collection: everything is woven and sewn sustainably and fairly from European organic yarns locally in Steinhude.
