The placemats, made of natural-colored half-linen, are woven in a plain weave. They're ideal as elegant and understated table linens for a beautifully set table in a cozy atmosphere.
 Thanks to the robust natural yarn, the sets are suitable for everyday use and can be washed at up to 95 degrees on a gentle cycle.

 Linen from Steinhude
 I'd been searching for high-quality, durable linen textiles manufactured in a small factory for some time. By chance, we stopped at the Seegers & Sohn weaving mill on Lake Steinhude during the Open Heritage Day and toured the impressive factory buildings. The family business was founded over 260 years ago and still produces traditional craftsmanship, primarily for exclusive hotels and restaurants. They also have their own collection of textiles under their house brand "Leinenfabrik." I've selected a few pieces for my shop and will be offering them here in the future.

 What's special about the linen collection: everything is woven and sewn sustainably and fairly from European organic yarns locally in Steinhude.
